SARAH GLADWIN CAMP : FOUNDER AND HEAD TEACHER Sarah designs and teaches ZoomDance classes. She has taught kids’ dance, music, drama, and acrobatics at Philadelphia School for the Deaf, InMovement Gymnastics, Goose Route Dance Festival in West Virginia, Children’s Dance Festival in Poland, and Creative Movements and PollyAnna Theatre in London. Her dance life began at Swarthmore College and continued at Laban School for Contemporary Dance and The Circus Space in London. As a professional dancer and choreographer, she has participated in festivals in Lithuania, Slovakia, Finland, Poland, Florida, Connecticut, Colorado, California, and Pennsylvania, and has performed with groups in Italy and England. Here in Philadelphia, Sarah is a founding member and co-artistic director of contemporary dance theater company Green Chair Dance Group. In addition to choreographing and performing with Green Chair, she is President of the Board at Mascher Space Cooperative, sits on the Advisory Board of DanceUSA/ Philadelphia, and is an Associate Artist with Workshop for Potential Movement. |

RACHEL CAMP : TEACHER Rachel is an experienced teacher and actor living in King of Prussia, PA, teaching dance, acting, and special needs theater classes in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. She has worked for Parks and Recreation in Upper Merion Township teaching tap and musical theater dance classes. Last summer she directed 5th - 11th graders in a production of the musical Into the Woods, Jr. for a 5-week Consortium for the Arts program. For Norristown theater company Theatre Horizon, Rachel has taught many weeks of Summer Drama Camps for 7 to 12-year-olds, as well as for the Autism Drama Outreach program (a series of classes created to stimulate imaginative play and social creativity for children with autism). Rachel started dancing at the age of 5 at Steppin' Out Academy of Performing Arts, training in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, pointe, hip hop, and lyrical. She continued her training at Montclair State University, where she graduated with a B.F.A. in Musical Theater. She is working with BlocNYC Talent Agency in New York to continue performing on the East Coast, most recently with 11th Hour Theatre Company, People's Light and Theatre Company, and Theatre Horizon. |

CAITLIN HELLERER : TEACHER Caitlin has enjoyed designing and teaching Creative Movement classes for kids as well as holding too many dance parties to count while babysitting with ten years experience. She is a dance and theatre artist from New York City. In May 2010 she graduated from Hamilton College with a Bachelors in Dance and Hispanic Studies. In August of 2010 she moved to Philadelphia to attend the Headlong Performance Institute and fell in love with a new city where she could focus on her artistic career. She is currently thick in creative process and performance with various Philadelphian performance artists. Additionally, she is a founding member and creator of The Home Theatre, an ensemble based group focused on creating work that examines traditional genres and their implications. |

LEE FOGEL : TEACHER Lee Fogel is a Somatic Movement Educator and interdisciplinary artist with over 10 years' experience teaching the arts and mind-body centering practices to people of all ages. She has taught in colleges, yoga and dance studios, camps, grade schools, women’s shelters, community centers, faith communities, and HIV/AIDS wellness organizations. She works from the premise that our bodies are rich with resources for wellbeing, creativity and intuition. Lee's teaching and creative work is informed by exploring subtle internal process through various expressive arts and improvisational play. She teaches and performs Contact Improvisation as a co-founder of the Philly Contact Collective. Lee started learning about Somatics and Improvisational dance at Oberlin College, where she studied installation art, dance, and religion. She just completed her MA in Dance and Somatic Well-being: Connections to the Living Body (University of Central Lancashire), and is thrilled to be building her own business, Somatic Journeys, inspiring a deeper connection to the body's wisdom through Reiki and Somatic Movement sessions and workshops. Lee is very excited to be teaching ZoomDance for such fun, inspiring, and delightful young students! |
